As everyone must know that Nohkalikai Falls is the tallest plunge waterfall in India. Its height is 1115 feet (340 meters). This fall is one of the most popular tourist attractions of cherapunjee, Meghalaya. Monsoon is always the best time to visit Meghalaya, but June and July sees highest rain fall in this area during the year. So better to plan your trip taking into consideration about this fact. Rain gears are must to carry while visiting this wet part of the world.

Arunachal Pradesh has the largest dense forest covers (81.37%)which is the highest percentage in India. If you are an adventure lover, you can choose any time of the year to travel this beautiful place of NE India.
Magical Mandala, the most suitable word to describe this place. Mandala is a hill rage with its highest altitude over 11500 feet ,connected with Bhutan, located in West Arunachal Pradesh. Take a ride from Dirang, which will take almost an hour to reach the pass. Rich in natural beauty and lots and lots of rare bird species are its main features.
Every travel routes of Arunachal Pradesh unleashes something new and unique for the travelers. As a photographer you will never hesitate to take out your camera even in pouring rain. This little river is located in the route of Tezu to Hawa-Pass route. This little travel route (nearly 40 kms) offers a dramatic altitude range and inhabits a large volume of flora and fauna.
Parashuram Kunda is one of the popular pilgrimage tourist places of India located in Arunachal Pradesh. Some exciting mythological stories are associated with this place. But as a landscape destination this place offers a lot to the travelers and photographers . Travel route from Tinsukia to Parashuram kunda and from Parashuram Kunda to Hawa-pass offers some dramatic views of river Lohit (Bramhaputra is Assam). Again, its a place to go during the dramatic monsoons though traveling Arunachal during monsoon needs some serious preparations.
Its a kind of dream feeling to have a sunset at Dainthlen Falls, Cherrapunjee, Meghalaya. Usually clear view of this falls is very rare during the monsoons and during winters water volume in the falls becomes too low. This common tourist place of Meghalaya demands some quite moments and a photographer needs to spend time at that place,to have some unique compositions.
Eaglesnest Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the most visited places by the Bird-Watchers across India. this West Arunachal Pradesh wild life sanctuary is a classic example of an ancient forest. If you are a nature and wildlife lover, go and spend as many days as you can in this place. Best time to visit if from October to May. Not advisable to go during the monsoons.
If you are a photographer and visiting Meghalaya during the summers, dont forget to sit by a waterfall and spend some time dreaming about your compositions. This one is one of my such experiments and my first attempt. I believe, imagination is the key to any artist who wants to create some magic for the audience.
Dzukou Valley is located at the border of Manipur and Nagaland. its a must visit place during your lifetime if you love to trek and spend absolutely quite time amidst nature. Please avoid going there in June and July though its a season time, as you will be surrounded by many unwanted tourists. Plan at least two nights in the valley which i feel most essential to check the entire valley properly.
"The night under the thousand stars"- yes, its Dzukou valley. A place to dream and talk with the stars. As a photographer if you are willing to spend the night inside the valley that is what you can view. The singing stream and dancing wind along with the millions stars and only you,
